Singapore Art Museum (Saturday, April 12, 2008)
Yes, i went to the museum today! SAM...
My father read the Life! section today.

Cove page was showing the 12.5million$ painting
of Xu Bei Hong. He's a china immigrant who came to Singapore.
And he was a witness of the Japanese Occupation during
his time too, if i'm not wrong.
So i went to his exhibition.. DHS students get free admission!
Adults is $8 each :D Wow.

He was a very talented artist. Based on his works,
could see that he takes note of small details, and he is
apt in alot of aspects of art, such as chinese painting ( shui mo hua ),
portrait painting, oil canvas, charcoal, pastels. His portraits are

Oil canvas. Done in 1939.
Brief explanation of this painting:
A girl and his father escaped from war in china and
did street-play to earn their living. One day, the girl
fainted due to hunger, and could not continue the play.
Then her father used a whip to lash her, to wake her up.
And a young passer-by, saw this, and shouted to him,
"Put down your whip!"
Then dunno what, days after, the girl and the father
told the onlookers their sufferings from the war.
And this aroused the onlookers' patriotic feelings.
Yahs, it's meaningful... Anyways, suggest u guys go for the exhibition.
It's until July. You get to see the 12.5million$ drawing for yourself!

After, we went to the Singapore Flyer! You must have think
that i very free rights. But i find that you must always take time
to enjoy life, especially my miserable little life :DD
We didn't exactly went on it, just look look see see.
They got fish spa there! Goshh, so wanna go.. But aww.
Went to seafood paradise. Butter crab..
Want to try out Jalepeno Pepper soon :DD
And later millenia walk. I SAW CHEN HAN WEI.
No big deal lahs, but at least it added spice to ma day :D.
His hair was like a mixture of mohawkk.. Lol. He dresses
quite nice lohs. And he's VERY TALL and TANNED.
