Shall update instead of doing ACE essay heh!
Just finish reading the entire book of Flowers for Algernon! If you don't remember, Charlie Gordon is this mentally retarded adult who got chosen to undergo this operation which will make him turn smarter, as previously tested on the experimental mouse called Algernon. So after the operation, Charlie becomes a genius, and his IQ level increased tremendously, and he even outperformed his "creators" and detected their flaws in the experiment. He learns about his past, when his mother shuns him and is perpetually disgraced by her dumb child, and how his mother chose to send him away to the Warren's Home for mentally retarded adults, and he discovers his true love (Ms Alice Kinnian), and had life experiences. During this period of time, he also completed his report on the Algernon-Gordon effect, a continuation of Prof. Nemur's and Strauss works. However good things always come to an end. Gradually, like he expected, his condition deteriorated, having poor coordination and increasing loss of memory. Soon enough, he became what he used to be like once again and it's really saddening for him to lose his intelligence. ): It's touching. Here's an excerpt:

You have no idea how much effort we put in for this! Though it was last minute work on Sunday, we bought a whopping 12balloons, ingredients for the cake and the card, the Hello Kitty birthday hat and the tres chic sunglasses! I stayed at Ali's house till an amazing 10pm since noon to finish up everything! Then went home slept for 2 hours, and watched world cup till 5am. So deprived of sleep! But glad she is touched(: But it could have been more memorable if she cried HAHA.

P5Kingfisher really groomed me. I had very caring and genuine seniors who have blinding passion for guiding. I had 4 other very great good friends who always think alike, and share many common interests like SHOPPINGGGGG, and tiding through all the waves together. I had lovely juniors who are so hyper and wild that I can never manage to outtalk them. Thank you Xintian, Michelle, Liyee, Sherlyn, Yajun, Alisa, Anyi, Valerie, Shu Wen, Guo Jun, Krystal, Janelle, Rochelle, Elizabeth, Nathania and Joey for the beautiful memories (: LESS THAN THREE.
Though we're gnna part to different patrols, our spirit will still be alive alright! Rock on P5!
