BACK FROM TAIWAN!
Have been back on Monday 7pm but too lazy to blog till now haha. Go to my facebook to check out the photos of the stuff there!!
We went to National TW University, Academia Sinica, Taipei Water Park, Xi Men Ding, Shih Lin Night Market and had loads of fun (& SHOPPING OF COURSE)!
(jacket+ black pants for entire trip haha, but of course diff pants and shirts la!)
Stayed at Charming Castle Hotel which is not bad actually though the hotel is small. Even so, the rooms are pretty spacious and comfy. Mine had a mini sauna inside, Yiling's & Zishan's rooms both had a huge jacuzzi so jealous! Mynt Mynt's room had 2 queen beds for 2 of them to stay lol. Wow. Breakfast at the hotel every morning was not bad also (: It's fun!
After a day of museum visiting or science experiments, I would visit Yiling/ Anyi/ Zishan/ YiJie at night haha and watch tv, snack on instant noodles and Lipton Milk tea/ Honey Green Tea in a packet(food is damn cheap at the minimarts there). Maximum comfort and luxury (which explains how much weight I've put on). Occasionally I would watch horror flicks with Iris till 11pm, cos she's my brave roommate who doesn't flinch at gory scenes or anything horrifying. I feel so timid.
I WANNA GO BACK THERE AGAIN! random outburst.
The food was nice too as Cindy (the staff from NTU) always brought us to eat nice stuff like Jap food, PIZZASSSS she ordered 9 different flavours for the 7 of us students but haven't include Dr Yap and the other staff of course. She's very nice and made our trip all v enjoyable ~
Anyway thing I noticed is that more people there wear Martens haha as compared to SG cos it was winter when we went there. Martens + jeans/ jeggings/ leggings is like super trendy lol but in SG, let's just stick to short shorts, dresses and slippers. If i had martens, the humid weather would make me feel super lazy to wear them actually. But I dont know for people like Yajun hahaha she just bought a new pair of boots recently. So it's a good thing to have cold weather too! Pretty leather jackets, trench coats and everything. Even I would bother to dress up everyday. I think.
On a side note, I spent around 6k there. 6k NTD hahaha, which is not really as much as I expected cos things there are cheap! The tops which I got are all below 10SGD, and of pretty good quality. Will post up pix soon of my loots, byee! (:
