hk day1 (Sunday, December 11, 2011)
Flight was on Saturday 8am! So got up early at 5+, exhausted!
Reached the airport and saw a bunch of youngsters waiting outside. Probably for me, but I ran away fast enough so they didn't catch me.
HYPED FOR TOY STORY LAND!!! My fav Pixar cartoon. I LOVE WOODY.
Reached our hotel, Cosmo! Located at the heart of Tai Kok Tsui. A relatively unknown place situated in Kowloon, Mongkok.
We discovered yummy congee, snacks, a pizza shack and even Share Tea in the region! Lovely.
We tried to find our way to the popular Langham Place at Mongkok station. And saw a shoot! I recognized the lady!!
Getting some chocolate fix @ Starbucks!
Finding the way to Victoria Peak, with me as the guide ofc. In the end, the queue for the peak tram was an estimated 1.5h so we left ):
Yes, a protest @ the base of the HSBC building. It's crazy! See the sign "Shame HSBC"? Some sight you won't see in our island.
i love donnie yen! catch every single movie of his.
we basically explored the Hong Kong Central area where IFC (international finance centre) was, with all the luxury goods and stuff. Explored the streets of Queen's road and had a steamy, satisfying break at the steamboat restaurant. I bought cheap suede from a street stall! Will attempt to make stuff if time permits.
A kind taxi driver brought us to Victoria Peak! There was a wax museum there, Madame Tussauds and we took photos w all the hollywood stars and etc! Robert Pattinson looks good for once. HAHA he does Edward no justice IRL.
Didn't really post much photos cos my fam doesn't like their faces to be shown ): yep ok haha & SORRY FOR MY CHUBBY FACE I PUT ON ALOT OF WEIGHT I THINK HAHAHA. Will work out from now on(:
