Recent meet ups in Aug with my dear catholic friends!
End Aug - Team for Africa Southeast Asia Chamber of Commerce - Annual General Meeting 2014
This was one of the internships I had the fortune to undertake for about 2 months, due to an ex-French prof. I got to write articles in French on updates of African countries as well as translate certain documents for the Chamber. In end August when the AGM was held, I had the opportunity to be a "social escort" for a few delegates from Ivory Coast and boy was it eye-opening. Struggled quite a bit in understanding their French ahha.
End July - River Safari with FINs (Friends-In-Need) of Society of St Vincent de Paul, a church ministry I joined in about March, where I really learnt quite a fair bit on society's poor. At the last meeting I could attend before I fly, I felt really blessed to have joined this ministry, and to have known all these members with a heart to serve the poor, and who at the same time, are so warm and welcoming.

2013: Back to Graduation Day which I didn't get a chance to post about.. After 6 years in a flurry, Grad Day was truly an emotional day for me… I was especially saddened by YJ's sudden departure to China/UK & I just felt like we could all do with one more day. One more day at this warm campus, interacting with the sincerest of teachers, and genuine true friends.
So her farewell came.
And it was a wonderful night at prom with my other class girls. A shoutout to Joy who has also been a great buddy throughout JC. Thanks too for being part of my life (:
Dec 2013 - Awaken, a Catholic retreat for youths that awakened my heart and soul to God's beauty & powerful love for us. It's divine & it's life-changing. A photo here with Archbishop William, someone whom I truly look up to.
Xmas in Kuching with my adorable cousins.
Cat cafe with Chocopies who always bring me to great places :D
Family outing too + bonding time @ SEA Aquarium after the biggest exam of my life.
Also, a whole new chapter of LDR (long distance relationship) began with YJ. I came across somewhere sometime, that true friends are friends who are able to grow in friendship even when they are physically apart, or when they have lost contact for xx period. That'll be just like us, and me with you guys, dear friends! 3 years will be nothing when you imagine the lifetime of friendship we will share.
My 19th birthday this year was definitely low-key and something I have to get used to for the next few years! Thanks for always showering me with lots of love still, beyond what I anticipate and would expect.
CNY @ Kuantan with relatives from my mum's side!!
I guess other than these, other major accomplishments would be picking up piano again after a 10 year hiatus ( I started in K2, stopped in P6) + getting my driving license (greatly blessed).
I also have yet to post pictures of some of you whom I will dearly dearly miss as well. ZC, JC, Jon, Liz, Cass I haven't forgotten bout you guys.
This isn't goodbye at all!
