flashbacks (Saturday, January 7, 2012)
#Dec 24th, Awakened - At 11pm, I was heading to the Christmas midnight mass in church... Everything felt amazing. Serenades of Christmas carols, people looking genuinely happy, and all the merriment. "Christ is born anew in us.", and that was what Xmas meant to be. After the mass, wardens gave out small pieces of presents, random strangers with bright smiles came up to me, shook my hand, wished me a joyous Xmas. It was a happy feeling (: But what touched me the most was that little present. The skeptical me told it would be some scam item, like a packet full of cheap sweets (that's how Msia is) or pamphlets. Yet, I found an artificial block of stone. On it, was a cross and the words, "Find faith in everything you do." I really needed that. There and then I decided that I would live by it. Have a meaningful life whereby I know what I'm doing, haha if you get what I mean.
#28th December, Nostalgia - I met up with an old friend.. Well not that old, haha a classmate of mine in 1K/2Kiron.Our relationship is pretty on and off. Quarrels, long periods of silent moments, distant times... Baking endeavors, passionate gossiping sessions, fiery shopping madness, late night conversations on MSN, all the surprises she gives me haha. We caught up that day, haven't met in a long while and had tons of fun. Suddenly speechless. Haha shan't be too whiny. But thank you for being in my life (:
#1st January, Hunger - Spent my new year's day with family feasting at Open Door Policy, visiting indie shops like the Strangelets and Books Actually! Love time like these w my fam.
#2nd January, Fatigue - Was rushing out a scrapbook for my mum's birthday! Wanted to make her happy so bad.
#6th January, Ultimate shock and horror - "You are not gnna have toenails on your big toe anymore! It's gone! Cut if off completely and let your mum cook it!" Says my dad.
#7th January, Surprise - Sitting on the bus after meeting JC for a shopping trip which was rather fruitful for him tsk hahaha. All of a sudden, an unknown number texted me (only print-screen after I saved her number). LIYAJUN IS BACK. She has been uncontactable. Not a single trace on FB, called her wasn't available, email-ed her didn't reply. So she isn't dead. Haha I'm glad!
(sorry for the screwed layout i don't know how to fix it. supaaa annoyin.)
