that's what makes you beautiful (Sunday, February 5, 2012)
Hey it's Feb already and haha i just can't believe it.
My dear friends planned a birthday surprise for me on Sunday after my actual birthday and i was really touched hehe. Even though on that day itself i felt abit emo la cos didn't really get cards from my dear friends! I think im quite superficial in the aspect that i like to receive cards and presentss haha self-exposed!!!
So clara and zhangche met me at harbourfront station, and they said they were gonna bring me to sentosa to watch some show! so i asked thick-skinned-ly, "bringing me to USS?" hahaha and they said yes and zc was even holding a USS map, goodness. Almost believed them. And the next fail thing is that I peeked at Clara's phone while she was texting yj. Initially what happened was that I asked yj to join us and she insisted she had to stay home to study... So apparently i found out the truth heh heh.
Reached siloso beach, and saw rot, leading me to a small pavilion, and 8 other people popped out from behind a huge rock. I was invited to take a seat and they serenaded me with Baby Blue Eyes by ARTTM and What Makes You Beautiful! Omg super touching :')
C brought out the cake she baked till 3am+, and it was entirely candy blue! Prettiest cake ever seriously. And it's even personalized, "Happy 18th Bday, Irene" it says hahaha. And all of them said this was a 2year celebration so I won't get any surprise next year ):
Played vball, talked abit, tried to teach them the watermelon game (but they don't get it) and played in the sea later. I love you awesome friends! Clara, ZC, Rot, Ali, Yj, Mav, Jc, Darien, Haoyi, Yiling & Wx! And thank you Amanda & Steph too for helping with the candles thinggg. My dear friends used up about 200 candles to arrange a "happy bday irene" formation at my place! ahhhhhh why, i feel indebted to them haha.
thank you to my fabulous class 5c33 for the cake and retarded card, chingying, sab, ryan, peishan for the presents, drink stall uncle for my honey green tea, my isac seniors as well as the guides for the mini-celebration & anyone else who wished me!. i feel loved once again (: will post pix when hy uploads them(:

and btw juz wanna clarify that i didn't apply for hcjc cos i discussed with my parents and decided i should stay. shall elaborate more another time~
