My dear friends! If you're still faithfully keeping watch here (:
Even though I'm super duper tight on schedule right now, I've come to a conclusion that I must definitely blog an update on this holidays!!! It's nice to keep track and record down little moments in your life even if it's not that frequent. Haha I like to peruse through my old archives once in a blue moon to see how I've matured, cliched it may sounds, and the fun I used to have, yeah and I'm pretty glad that I've kept this blog ever since sec 1 or even earlier.
Yep Y5 has been a huge transition, and everybody's, all my friends going through a hair-pulling experience, trying to revise for CTs while squeezing time out to chill with friends, family, something you can never do when school re-opens. Yeah and I went to look at what I did in June last year: http://electricfridays.blogspot.sg/2011_06_01_archive.html and I felt happy and nolstagic! Missed the times I could spend with them.
How my June holidays has been so far!
Last week of T2 was actually when my holiday began cos I didn't have to go to school anymore! Was involved in Singapore Intermational Math Challenge that lasted for a week. Had international students coming over to NUS High for this prestigious event. Our team worked quite hard for it and we were pretty disappointed by the results to be honest. But it was enriching nonetheless, met foreign students, fondly recall the Thai students, Boeing, Porn, Krit, and how they offered me their school badge! I gave them my only school badge in return haha. Favourable memories also include late night starbucks with Bridget, Qingyang, Xanicia, Rachel and Liuqi (our wonderful NUS High facils), over night stays and consecutive working late nights tilll about 2am to complete reports, at NUS hostel - UTown. Free stays, free food, priceless friendship. Everything was great, except with a little disappointment lingering in the heart haha.

First week of June, went back to school every single day! And it's >8hours everyday haha. It was for ISAC's flagship event The ASEAN Model Plus Summit! Was in Project Planning so didn't had a lax time! But it was an eye-opener and imo, the best event ever organized by DHS haha, biased of course. Made new friends, and yeah I learnt alot from the Econ. Devt council! Will try to go for MUNs and try to have a sharper and more discerning mind.
Left on Saturday immediately after ASEAN for Msia, to visit relatives and yeah played badminton + watched movies w my cuz. Had a potluck dinner as well.
Came back, immediately went back to school for the next consecutive 3days for House Comm stuff, working very hard for Kirin + consultation! Tough eh. But worth the effort.
So... we're in the third week now, where I'm supposed to prep for majority of the subjects for CTs. Haha it isn't working out that well, cos there's Youth For Causes 2012, and I kinda prioritized it because there is a motivation for me to do the project, of which funds will go to SAGE, and support the continual growth of the elderly. In my opinion, that's the most important social cause worth fighting and working for and yep, my past experiences have made me determined to make this work. So I've mainly been prepping by contacting sponsors, organizations, companies. Hope it works out well.
(awesome food for the hols)
